Our stay at Bebbux

We had a wonderful time at the Bebbux farmhouse in Munxar, Gozo. The owners were helpful and welcoming, and the farmhouse was beautiful- clean and bright, prettily furnished and well- equipped. The bus stop is just a few minutes walk away, with buses to Victoria at least once an hour. The local shop also had everything we needed, so we really didn't have to go far (although the island is worth exploring, and the buses are great for this- less than 7 euros for a week's bus pass). The nearby resort of Xlendi has some excellent restaurants and lovely walks round the cliffs. All in all, a lovely holiday, and we can't wait to come back, especially to the lovely Beebux.

Une jolie farmhouse très bien équipée et meublée avec beaucoup de charme à Munxar dans un environnement calme et préservé. Vue imprenable sur la vallée de Xlendi et Victoria. Endroit idéal pour se reposer et visiter l'ile de Gozo.

Excellent rapport qualité / prix.
Malgré la mitoyenneté de la maison, le calme est là !
La maison est ravissante, fonctionnelle, piscine entretenue.
Un excellent séjour, comme toujours sur Gozo qui devient notre destination favorite.
A recommander vivement.

A wonderful place

A wonderful place to stay away from the tourist hassle and bustle.The farmhouse is located in a small village whereby the only public place is a mini supermarket where you can find averything you want. It's barely 2mn from Victoria centre, and 2mn from neighboring Xlendi, a small village by the sea where you can find a number of affordable sea food restaurants.
Now back to the farmhouse, it's gigantic , compared to the size of regular available location for rent at this time of the year, more than 200 m2, + a large balcony and a swimming pool, where we spent most of our time, given the choking high temperatures, besides bathing , sunbathing and dining at evenings. All rooms are very large, and all equipped with a private bathroom, the farmhouse overall is pretty well fiited out with all necessary household appliances ( washing machine+ dryer) + cable TV which is quite relevant for early waking up children in the morning ;-). We definitely recommend that wonderful place.

We had a wonderful stay here and would not hesitate in recommending it to EVERYONE! A lovely place, with everything we needed and lots of charm. Thankyou Jeff for meeting us at the airport- a super personal touch. It was a bit cold for the pool, but we had a couple of BBQs and everything in Gozo is within such easy reach. It was no trouble, getting from Malta to Gozo- all part of the adventure!

Bebbux delivers again and again

Hi Jeff,
We all enjoyed our holiday in Bebbux and no doubt we will be back when its not so hot!!Thank you for my birthday cake it was a nice surprise.When I got home we had a big party with family & friends and on Sunday we had a barbecue for our family and I can't believe it but the weather was too hot !.This week it has turned wet ,miserable and colder we are saying our summer is over. I have been recommending Gozo and Bebbux to friends so hopefully you,ll get some new visitors. Glad you had a good holiday .Love from Sue ,Pete and family.

Many thanks for your kind email. We did indeed have a absolutely wonderful and very memorable week in Bebbux. It is without a doubt the loveliest holiday property we have stayed in, and we loved it. Everything was perfect, especially the pool and the three cats that the children 'adopted' for the week. The house has so much space and light, and so much character and we really loved coming back to it each day after the beach or sightseeing. We loved Gozo and although we also had a very pleasant two days in Qawra afterwards, Gozo had a very special quality that we loved. It was especially nice for us to stay on an island small enough to get to know, and all the people we met were extremely friendly and welcoming.
Many many thanks indeed for letting us stay in your lovely house. We will most certainly recommend it to friends who are interested in Malta/Gozo.

We had trouble leaving both your beautiful house and the island of Gozo. Today, as the heavy rain pours down outside and we have about 10 degrees c, we long to be back….
Thank you also for suggesting **** and their very good service – both with the car and the airport transfer. It made the holiday so much easier! Furthermore, the people in Dwejra, by the inland sea, and especially those taking us out by boat, are just incredible! We had the most wonderful guide - so much knowledge and a wonderful story-teller – that was one of the high-lights of our stay. Please recommend them to others :0)
