We stayed at Villa To Kyma for a week in late July. It is an absolutely lovely place - very well equipped and furnished with stunning views over Stoupa from the upstairs balcony. The pool is lovely and we spent many days just lounging by the pool reading lots of books. It is very convenient for the village - a short walk/drive to local bread shop and supermarkets. We recommend restaurants in Kalamata about 10 mins drive away and the restaurant Frigano up the road which is also lovely for breakfast.
Sonia was very helpful before and after we left with lots of information about the villa and things to do.
Would thoroughly recommend.

a dream! Warmest recommendation. Marvellous site, well equipped, beautiful, big garden without immediate neighbours, fantastic swimming pool.
Disadvantage: this pools keeps you off from visiting the beach! Nevertheless visit Kalogria beach in the morning and in late afternoon! And have a look to Phonea beach, half way between Stoupa and Kardamyli!
the only "dangerous" incident: when my kiddies found a young small scorpion (2 cm) in their sleeping room. It must have come from somewhere near.
Perhaps you may be interested in visiting Mrs. Burgi Bläuels music festival during summer, just 3 km up the street from Stoupa to between Neohori and Pirgos, performances at sunset in an open air Greek theatre, a mini-Epidauros.

I would recommend this villa to anyone; absolutely charming. The website really does it full justice; we got pretty much exactly what we expected. Stunning location, beautiful views, and it feels like a home. We loved the little touches like Sonia's mosaics, etc. It is a lovely place to relax and unwind. My only reservation is that I'd have preferred it if there was less traffic noise; the owners might consider building or planting something to absorb it a bit. But I don't want to overstate this: the road is quiet a lot of the time, and there is so much else to love about this place, it would not spoil your stay. The villa was very clean, and maintained to a high standard. You have complete privacy as the property is gated, and you are not overlooked by anyone.

We drove to Stoupa in the daytime, walked there in the evening. We never had any trouble parking – though getting there was sometimes awkward as there are some roads that are two-way that shouldn't be! Katerina's Supermarket is very convenient and provided us with all our needs. There are plenty of restaurants and tavernas to choose from – the best of them being at either end of the bay. We found Stoupa to be the right sort of lively – not noisy, just a pleasant buzz. We particularly enjoyed the Butcher's Taverna, where they had live music every night.

It's worth noting that, given the nature of Stoupa's beach – sandy, gently sloping, no big waves – the place attracts a lot of young families. Our teenagers had a good time also, though.

Beautiful villa with a lot of privacy. We felt at home the minute we walked in and had a lovely week.

The swimming pool is great and has nice places to sit and relax. Owner is very helpful and provided excellent information.

We enjoyed our visits to Kardimily, Agio Nikolaos and the small village of Agios Dimitrios. I very much recommend the horse riding with Deborah of Proastio Riding Centre because of the beautiful views during the ride and Deborah's talent to teach children.

The villa was a real discovery. Ideal for those who like to be close to amenities but not in the middle of it all. The villa is secluded, well equipeed, well looked after and lives up to expectation in every way. It is within walking distance from the bakery, the supermarket as well as the local beach. The beaches in the area are excellent.
There is excellent information avaiable on what to do and see in the villa. Car is recommended for outings - there is a lot to see and do.
I would recommend the villa to friends, family and would be very happy to return and spend another holiday there in the future.

Our family of five and two friends spent a week at Villa to Kyma and had the best time ever. The house and pool were absolutely beautiful. We would venture off for the days and then return and relax by the pool. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals but we mostly enjoyed lunches and dinners in Stoupa. The people in town could not have been nicer.
We cannot wait to return to Stoupa and Villa To Kyma!

We had a fabulous week at Villa To Kyma; the house is beautiful, well laid out with lots of space for everyone. The outside areas – where we spent all of the time we were actually at the villa – are lovely with enough chairs etc… for people to sit in the sun or the shade. The big outdoor table was great, a super area to eat breakfast fresh from the bakery (a 20 minute stroll away). The restaurants in Stoupa itself were all excellent, and for something a bit more special (but still at good prices) Restaurant Frigano – just 10 mins up the road – was perfect.

We were given plenty of information about what to expect at the villa by the owners and they made sure that we knew how to find it and also the best way to get there. The information provided at the villa was excellent – not just about the villa and it’s amenities but also the surrounding area. There is a huge amount of things to do close to hand – the beaches, local villages, walks etc… are all well worth checking out. Further afield there are plenty of things to do although some of the roads are a little hair-raising at times. Olympia, Diros caves, Cape Tenaro, Vathia are just some of the places that we visited during our week and all were well worth the time taken. The Corinth Canal, ancient Corinth, Acrocorinth and ancient Nemea were all stops on the trip to and from Athens where we had a couple of days in addition to our week in Stoupa – a perfect combination.

Villa To Kyma in Stoupa was the perfect place to base ourselves and was a beautiful place to be based in.

My two sons, two friends and I stayed at the villa four days right after Easter, 2012. The villa is magnificent. The house looked so great on the web site that I was preparing myself for a letdown. I was wrong; the reality exceeded my expectations. The villa is build within an olive tree grove and the beautiful plants around the house were in full bloom as it was mid April, in my opinion the best time to visit the Peloponnesus. I should know since I was born and raised there. The bottle of wine was another elegant touch. It is obvious that the house has been built, decorated and maintained as a family home, not as a rental. Even though the weather was a bit on the cold side my sons and friends took full advantage of the in ground pool. The nights were cool enough that we enjoyed a fire every night of our stay. Bill, the caretaker and his wife Laila were very helpful with information about the area. They also run a very classy restaurant in town – I highly recommend the rabbit. I plan another visit in mid summer 2013. I hope the villa is available then.
