Our family of five (elderly couple plus 3 (almost) grown-up children) enjoyed our one-week stay at Waltraud and Rolf's beautiful apartment very, very much. It was perfectly equipped with everything you can dream of - not only the obvious things (crockery, cutlery, bedlinen etc.), but also beach towels, washing powder, scales, umbrellas, board games, a library full of books and a welcome bottle of wine and softdrinks in the fridge...simply great!). It was also perfectly clean and we were very happy about the good windows and the airconditioning! We slept perfectly every night! All the electrical stuff worked (especially WLAN!) and the bathrooms were excellent (not always the case in southern Europe..). The apartment is located in the city centre of Antibes, next door to a beautiful square and the tourist office, just 5 minutes from 2 supermarkets and one minute from the next baker's shop (very friendly staff and excellent products). We loved the tiny beach de la Gravette in Old Antibes - it was peaceful and not too crowded. Good water quality and a sandy beach (mostly) with showers, toilets and a snack wagon. In the pedestrian zone but also in the streets off the beaten track there are beautiful shops tempting you to spend your money. The Marché Provencal is a must, too. The city is very lively and crowded at times, but I would never swap it for Cannes or Nice! It is a very cosy, almost intimate place and in the evening there are many places where you can enjoy a typical French dinner at a reasonable price. The best thing was perhaps that you really do not need a car to get around. There are perfect public transport connections to almost every spot of interest on the Côte d'Azur and you pay a flat rate of 1 Euro irrespective of how far you travel. The buses are modern and air-conditioned and most of them stop right in front of Waltraud and Rolf's apartment. You can imagine that we would love to be back soon!

Es war ein gelungener Urlaub dank Ihrer wunderschoenen und toll eingerichteten Wohnung.
Ich habe jeden Tag irgendwo etwas Neues entdeckt, besonders die Bilder haben mir sehr gut gefallen.
Sie haben mit Jacques einen wirklich guten und aufmerksamen Verwalter gefunden. Ihre Putzfrau ist ebenfalls eine Perle, es war alles sehr sauber.
Die Blumen haben wir gegossen, aber ich fuerchte, gerade die Margariten brauchen auch noch etwas Sonne, um so richtig gut zu gedeihen.
Ihnen und Ihrem Mann alles Gute, nochmals vielen Dank fuer Ihr Vertrauen und die Gastfreundschaft, bis zum naechsten Mal!

Ich moechte mich hier nochmals fuer das tolle Apartment, die aeusserst angenehme Betreuung, zahlreichen Tipps von Herrn Jacques Dechentinnes und vor allem ueber Ihr Vertrauen sehr herzlich bedanken. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. Antibes ist wirklich eine Reise wert! Nach anfaenglichen Aengsten in Bezug auf die tolle Einrichtung bei vier Kindern, ist Gott sei Dank nichts passiert.
Gerne wuerden wir wieder Ihr Apartment buchen und das Leben an der Cote d' Azur geniessen.

We really enjoyed your apartment in Antibes. Not only was it beautifully decorated, furnished and efficiently supplied, it was perfectly located for us.
We started our trip in the Ilse of Skye, visiting family. Then made our way down to Antibes, which we enjoyed the warmth of the sun. We are very active in general, so walking around town or to the beaches was no problem. It was great coming "home" to relax after a busy day.
Jacques was also very thorough and helpful in providing the needed info. You are very lucky to have him.
Our travels continued on through out the Provence and Burgundy regions, which were very beautiful. Our last four days were spent in Paris. We chose to stay in another "Home Away" apartment and found that it could not compare to Antibes. We have traveled to Paris many times and stayed in hotels, so the apartment idea is unbeatable, but I now feel that you have set the standard. The apartment was clean, decent size, good location, but definitely lacked the finer touches that you provided in Antibes.
So ending on that note, our visit to Antibes was a great experience that we will always treasure and again, thank you!

It's hard to add anything new to what others have said about this apartment. It is just as nice, possibly even nicer, than it appears in the photographs, beautifully decorated, maintained, and equipped with everything in working order. The location, on the edge of the Vieille Ville, the old town, and best part of Antibes, is also brilliant and with a bus stop at the door, the train a few blocks away and the bus depot with even more buses a short hop across Place de Gaulle, we were spoiled for choice. Add to this, a new apartment store with supermarket across the road and a pharmacy right underneath the building, life was soo... easy. The owners made the booking process very efficient and the managers in Antibes were most welcoming and helpful with their local knowledge and restaurant tips.
My husband and I have been coming to this part of the world for over ten years now and know it well but this has been our best and most relaxing holiday yet due in no small way to this lovely apartment. Thank you for making it available, Waltraud and Rolf, and thank you also, Jacques and Pearl, for making us so welcome.
We still reminisce about our magnificent walks out to the Cap followed by a stroll downhill for a swim at Plage de la Garoupe - just perfect! However, having a comfortable and luxurious apartment to come home to each day was always something to look forward to in itself.
I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and only hope that we will be able to return again next year.

Our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) had a wonderful time at this very pleasant apartment in Antibes. The location was great, the rooms were nice and cool (good a/c) and very well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed Antibes, especially the beaches. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this cozy and perfectly located apartment. It was my second stay and the first for my husband and two adult daughters. The apartment is perfectly located for taking advantage of the surrounding areas as buses to Nice and Cannes are steps away and the main bus station is just a few blocks walk. We love Antibes itself and enjoyed going to the provencal market each day. The apartment is a delight to come home to. We had lunch out most days (larger than we are used to), and enjoyed cocktail hour and a light dinner at our home away from home. Jacques, our contact in Antibes, is a delight and always helpful if we have questions. We couldn't have been happier with our recent stay!
