THE HOME IS BEAUTIFUL WITH MANY AMENITIES. THE ONLY DOWNSIDES ARE POWER OUTAGES IN THE AREA DUE TO THE WET SEASON'S STORMS AND ISOLATION. YOU DEFINITELY NEED A CAR AND A LOCAL CELL PHONE WHICH CAN BE PURCHASED IN DAVID FOR ABOUT $20 AND ADD MINUTES TO USE IN CASE OF POWER OUTAGES. HOWEVER, THE OWNER PROVIDES A TOLL FREE NUMBER THAT YOU CAN HAVE FAMILY/FRIENDS CALL YOU AT THE HOME WHICH IS A PLUS. THE VIEWS FROM THE HOME OUT TO THE OCEAN IS FABULOUS. OWNER ALSO ALLOWS USE OF A HAMMOCK TO LIE IN THE OCEAN BREEZE TO READ OR RELAX WHILE VIEWING OR LISTENING TO THE ROARING OF THE OCEAN. ALSO ENJOYED GREAT WALKS ALONG THE OCEAN FRONTAGE.

Outstanding beach house
This is by far the best beach house we've been to. The beach is simply stunning with warm water, good waves and a very gentle slope ideal for young kids. The area is also very quiet, we had the impression that we had our own private beach. We've stayed here for three weeks and we have already booked our stay for four weeks next year!
The house is beautiful, comfortable and high class. Almost everything is provided including boogie boards and an impressive assortment of movies. the only thing you will need is a car (small SUV is ideal) for groceries which is a 13 min drive to Las Lajas for basic stuff. If you don't feel like cooking, there is even a very decent restaurant at the close-by beach resort.
This is as close as you can get to paradise. highly recommended!

Paradise
The pictures do not do the casa justice. It is truly amazing from the time you walk through the front door until the time you leave. We spent two weeks here with three children and the evenings were spent playing cards on the terraza and looking out over the ocean. A rental car is almost a neccessity. We drove from Panama City in order to get an appreaciation of the country. If you decide to take a drive I reccomend a trip to Boquette with a stop at the Rock restaraunt. Every one that we met was very friendly and welcoming. The beach is quiet and very private, the water is suprisingly warm, almost like bath water. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection in both the Las Lajas and San Felix grocery stores. If you are in the mood for fresh fish you can find the local fisherman selling fresh Pargo (Red Snapper) along the highway towards David. We found they return with the days catch around 12:30/1:00. I was also pleasantly surprised by the bugs, or lack of them. They are really only out for about 45 minutes at sun rise and sun set and even then were not bad at all. I have already recommended Casa MarAzul to many friends and relatives. It is the perfect place to relax with family and friends. I would love to return very soon. If making a short list of places to stay, put this one at the top of the list!

Quel bel endroit !
Nous avons loué cette maison dans le but d'avoir un confort comme chez nous et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Nous sommes venus avec nos 3 enfants.
Les pièces sont spacieuses et très modernes tout étant chaleureuses.
On a tous les commodités et on se sent à l'aise.
La mer est juste à quelques pas de la maison (accès direct) et c'est un endroit vraiment tranquille et paisible.
Les photos du site web sont très représentatifs mais on pensait que la maison serait plus petite....bien non....une belle grande maison.
À mon prochain retour au Panama en décembre 2012, nous aimerions bien la relouer pour 2 semaines.

Awesome Time!
Hi! We are the Untersee's and we were Blessed to be the First renters for this home. It TRUELY is Wonderful. We stayed at the home from June 6th 2011-June 18th 2011. it was GREAT!! We had our privacy and we meet our nieghbors. They were All very welcoming! I suggest you have aq rental car so you can visit alot of the towns/cities in the area. It is a drive to get to David, Boca Chica, or Bouquet but well Worth it! We made close relationships with many of the local people and we are forever changed by it. THANK YOU SO MUCH! We will definitely be back!
