Cette Maison de vacances 4 Chambre dispose d'une terrasse spacieuse avec un bain à remous qui offre une vue spectaculaire sur les montagnes. Niché dans la ville de Jewett, dans le comté de Greene, sur la route 23A, la maison est idéalement situé à cinq miles de deux Hunter et les montagnes de Windham. La maison est située sur deux hectares dans un paysage rural.
La grande salle a de grandes baies vitrées avec portes coulissantes (fenestration abondante fournir une abondance de lumière naturelle), un salon en contrebas avec une coupe enveloppante, une cheminée avec des bûches de gaz brûlants, plafond cathédrale, 46 'HDTV, système de son, cuisine entièrement équipée, salle à manger avec des sièges et un comptoir de cuisine avec tabourets qui peut accueillir 14 personnes. C'est une maison idéale pour se divertir.
Parfait pour les réunions de famille, sorties d'entreprise et des adultes responsables et des enfants.

Great house. Great owners. Great memories.
Wow. What a house. 10 friends and I rented this amazing chalet to go to a four day music festival at Hunter and while the music was decent, the house was spectacular. I don't really know where to begin.
First off, it is gigantic. 11 of us were comfortable the entire time. The high ceilings and huge windows gave an even roomier feel to this house, yet the way it is laid out makes it feel cozy at the same time. The outdoor deck has a great view and there's a brand new hottub and outdoor speakers out there so you can lay in the tub, listen to music and stare up at the stars in the mountain sky. Inside, the open kitchen area allowed the fun to continue while cooking and the flatscreen and fireplace in the living room really make it hard to leave. There is another den with the most comfortable couch and a second tv, and there is also a loft with a foosball table and some video games. Would be perfect for kids I guess.
The owner, Tommy, was a terrific guy and gave us some good tips as far as where to eat, how to get around, etc. The place is a short drive from Hunter Mountain, maybe five minutes, and convenient to all sorts of outdoor activities.
All in all it was the perfect place for 11 guys going to a music festival, but would be just as good for a bunch of couples or families. I will definitely rent the house again and highly recommend it. A beautiful house in a great setting with nice owners and a good price. What's not to like.

Helpful hints for your visit
There are many nice things about this chalet - plenty of space and beds, nice big deck, flat screen TVs, large fluffy towels, paper and cleaning supplies, and a fabulous two-person shower.
And the area is very rural and remote, which we grew to appreciate.
However, we found some things we didn't expect, so here are some hints to help you in planning your trip:
We were there in August and our biggest problem was the heat. The house has no air conditioning and the sun beat down into the great room through the tall bare windows which heated up the house very quickly. It was 80 degrees outside but hotter inside. The fans really didn't help.
If you are a light sleeper, don't take the master bedroom. It's the hottest room in the house. Also , there are no curtains over the cathedral windows, so the daylight comes in at dawn. There are tall windows above the inside wall, so all light from the rooms downstairs shine in. The house sits near a rural road so there isn't much traffic. However when the cars do go by, they sound as if they're coming into the bedroom. If you close the windows to shut out the noise, it makes the room even hotter.
This house is not child proof. There are 3 sets of open stairs - two inside and one outside from the deck - so you might want to bring child gates. The steps around the sunken living room can also be a problem for very small children if you don't keep your eye on them every minute.
Check the refrigerator thermostat when you get there. We put 3 pounds of fresh pink hamburger meat in the fridge one day and it was yukky and brown the next day and had to be thrown out. The thermostat had been turned down. It was ok once we turned it up.
Be prepared for the clothes dryer to take two hours to dry regular clothes like t-shirts and shorts and even longer for towels.
If you need a hairdryer, bring it.
If you want wash clothes, bring them.
There is no ice maker so you may want to bring a cooler with ice.
Be prepared to clean up the grill before you use it.
Beware of one of the screen doors to the deck. It fell off three times and the last time, hit the youngest kid in the back and knocked him down.
All in all, we had a good time and loved the open spaciousness of the house, despite the heat.

We have a care- taker and we have access to handymen in the area if a problem arises. As stated in our house instructions, please let us know if there is a problem during your stay, so we can make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We already have made some changes per your recommendations. We are now including hair dryers in the bathrooms realizing that this is an item people forget to pack while on vacation. Although we include children's games, children's toys and video games for their enjoyment, our house as explained on our advertising websites is a multi-level home with a sunken living room. We are purchasing a child proof gate that should offer peace of mind around the great room area. We do not have an ice maker but include two refrigerators for the storage of ice trays. We sympathize with the heat issue as your week rental encountered record setting heat days. Generally, air-conditioning is not needed in the town of Jewett during the summer months as the area cools down in the evening hours. However, we will research the purchase of an air-conditioner for the master-bedroom--a favorite of all renters. Our feedback has indicated that the lower bedrooms are quite comfortable for sleeping purposes. Our chalet was designed to let outside light in. Our oversized gliding patio doors and numerous Andersen windows in the great room and master bedroom enhance the view and solitude of the area. The sun rises over the mountains and sets off a wonderful display of morning light. Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for renting with us.

Great Memorial Day Experience
We had a group of 14 people come Zipline at hunter mountain for memorial day weekend. We were lucky enough to come across this beauty of a cabin. It was spacious, clean and created a wonderful enironment to relax and enjoy eachothers company. Thomas the owner gave vey clear and specific written instructions for anything needed- whether it was the hot tub, how to use the tv, or using the washing machine. Great place for friends, family or groups to get together.

Wonderful experience 2 years in a row
This home is impeccably clean, spacious and plenty of room for 14 guests, everything we expected. Lots of room on the big sofa for all the kids to watch a movie. All the kitchen appliances and utensils you'll need. We rented this home 2 years in a row in the spring. We enjoyed grilling outside, hiking through the woods in the backyard, down to the river. The location is private enough but close to Hunter. The owner was very accommodating and answered all questions promptly. Wonderful experience.
